Rabbit Entrepreneurs Ghana (REGHA)

Rabbit Entrepreneurs Ghana (REGHA) was established with the vision to be a highly effective Association of rabbit entrepreneurs recognized worldwide for its contribution to national development.

Mission

• Bring together purpose-driven businesses of rabbit entrepreneurs in order to harness their economic potential for national development.
• Stimulate the perpetual consumption of rabbit meat in Ghana through rigorous awareness campaigns and affordable pricing, thus making rabbit meat a staple.
• Strengthen the businesses of Association members by providing a common bond for the sharing of ideas, resources, and assistance.
• Investigate and create markets for rabbit products and by-products, and assist in marketing such products.
• Empower the Ghanaian youth through sustainable development initiatives in the rabbit sub-sector in order to create jobs and wealth.

Teamwork

REGHA defines teamwork as a sense of duty and unity of purpose, towards the attainment of the Association’s vision. It is the most integral element in its fibre, that glues members of the Association together; a bond which promotes strength, unity, reliability, and support.

Innovation

The ability to translate its ideas into goods and services that creates value for the benefit of society, is one of REGHA’s hallmarks. This is made possible because REGHA understands its own needs and how the satisfaction of these needs impacts Ghana as a whole. Its innovations are both evolutionary and revolutionary, in order to help develop and promote Ghana’s rabbit subsector bringing it to par and probably beyond current international standards.

Integrity

REGHA’S adherence to its rules and regulations, as well as existing social moral codes, is reflected in the transparent honesty and complete harmony in its thoughts and actions. The contributions and efforts of each member is respected without unjustifiable compromise, and this enables REGHA perform its intended functions without being degraded or impaired by its internal or external environments.

Professionalism

REGHA operates with the level of excellence and competence that is expected of it and mandates each of its members to do same. It is the pillar to which all other four pillars are linked.
